In 2025, a box of Ernest “Ernie” Henry Broeker’s belongings was discovered, containing this collection of 41 photographs.
The exact story behind these photographs remains uncertain, but it is believed that they were taken during the 1945 occupation of West Germany.
Some genealogical research has revealed that Ernest may have no direct descendants to share these photos. Thankfully, Jeffrey and his famly are distant relatives who are able to share this collections.
